Hi everyone,

Earlier this afternoon, I called the visiting nurse because his
legs began weeping from the swelling. When she came out to assess
his legs she also checked his vitals. His blood pressure was
alarmingly low – 50/76 – and she urged us to go to the emergency
room.

Ricky is stable and comfortable at Karmanos. They will keep him
overnight to monitor, possibly longer.

I’ll post an update later this evening or in the morning.

Please keep those prayers...

Heavenly Father, Ricky's family and I from Phoenix come to you in prayer and ask that you give our precious Ricky and his wife Gael comfort. We ask that you disperse your angels around Ricky an Gael and that your Heavenly Light shine upon them. We accept your perfect plan Father and that Ricky and Gael are totally and completely in your Hands. It is us that need your strength at this time Father. Help us to understand and accept your will and accept that everything has its perfect timing. Father, You are the Worker of Miracles and it is for this that we come before You. Father, we ask that you show favor to our Ricky. We trust you and your Word Father, and accept what will be. In Jesus's name we thank you and honor you, Amen.

      Hi,

      My name Is Russell,
I wanted to send along my condolences to Rick's family. I only had the pleasure of knowing Rick a short time in my adolescent years as he was my supervisor at CSC in Los Angeles in the late 80's. My heart breaks! Rick had a profound impact on me in the short time I worked for him and this fact alone shows what kind of man he was.
I am 39 years old now and still think about Rick and how great that jobs was, it was the best and most fun I have ever had working and Rick was a large part of that.
Rick Moved on to the 49ers and I to ABC-TV.
As football rolled around again I always looked for Rick on TV in those earlier years knowing I would see him run the Coach on and off the field.
Rick you're now with the BIG COACH, keep it safe Bro we will all see you again eventually.
      Peace and God bless
      Much Love
      Russell Parrish
