Words cannot express how I feel. Each one of us, near and far lost someone special.
I'm going to celebrate my Friend's life with a story. I remember the first time when I joined on with CSC in CA. My very first S-1's were Doug Goldstein and Rick. The job was a concert with a very popular band, Sioux and the Banshees. In any event, several people were sharing their "views" of the show. As I proceed to be an uninvited participant to the "conversation", I remember seeing Rick smiling and saying, 'people just won't listen' as he gingerly removed several people from the make shift conference room.
We have listened and watched how Rick fought this to the very end. I will miss my Friend. May God Bless him, Gael and their loves ones.
I am so lucky to have met you and shared in your life. Thank you for the stories, thank you for the laughs and thank you for your generosity. The pub won't be the same without you there!

This song by Survivor is entitled "Every Since The World Began," and I will always think of my friend Rick whenever hearing it played.
I'll never know what brought me here, As if somebody led my hand, It seems I hardly had to steer, My course was planned. And destiny it guides us all, And by it's hand we rise and fall, But only for a moment, Time enough to catch our breath again.
And we're just another piece of the puzzle, Just another part of the plan, How one live touches the other Is so hard to understand -- Still we walk this road together, We try and go as far as we can, And we have waited for this moment in time, Ever since the world began.
Taking in the times gone by, We wonder how it all began, We'll never know and still we Try to understand, And even though the seasons change, The reasons shall remain the same, It's love that keeps us holding on Till we can see the sun again.
And we're just another piece of the puzzle, Just another part of the plan, How one live touches the other Is so hard to understand -- Still we walk this road together, We try and go as far as we can, And we have waited for this moment in time, Ever since the world began.
And I stand alone, a man of stone, Against the driving rain-- And the night -- it's got your number, And the wind -- it cries your name -- And we search for clues, win or lose, In this we're all the same -- The hope still burns eternal, We're the keeper of the flame--
And we're just another piece of the puzzle, Just another part of the plan, How one live touches the other Is so hard to understand -- Still we walk this road together, We try and go as far as we can, And we have waited for this moment in time, Ever since the world began. Reply to this

Uncle Rick and Aunt Gael, Every one that knew my uncle Rick loved him instantly, if you only met him once or if you saw him every day he had a place in every ones hearts. Yesterday i lost some one very special in my life, today it still seems unreal. But i know he is better now. i love you uncle rick, and will miss you so very much! And aunt Gael you and the rest of our family is in my prayers.
Ricky is still alive in the hearts and minds of all of us!!
He beat the odds for so long, I had hoped and prayed that he would be the one who really showed the docs and other patients how to LIVE A LONG LIFE.
Well, his life goes on, in another dimension and we can all be proud of the life that he lived, and the courage that he showed.
Many thoughts and hugs and prayers coming your way, from one of your friends on the ACOR list.

I want to extend my condolences to the family, and also let you know that my family participates in the ACS relay for in life in Sault Ste Marie each year. This year the theme is "Sports" and we chose the Lions as our "team". After reading about Ricky's fight with cancer, we are including a "memorial" to him on the "wall" of our sight, including his picture, some of the information from the Lions web site, and putting a link to this websight. We will pray for you and your family and thank God that Ricky is home with Him now. May your family be blessed abundantly, Sincerely, Misty AKA: Jeske Family & Friends Reply to this
